Kentland Impact Structure: Tomographic, and Well Log Data supporting Robitaille MSc (2024)

<p>This repository contains portions of the data associated with the seismic tomography, the calculation of synthetic seismograms, and the development  of stratigraphic horizons contained within Robitaille (2024).   Note that the seismic data is too large for this repository but may be found at (Robitaille and Schmitt 2024a) and the digitized gravity data is archived at (Robitaille and Schmitt 2024b).</p>

<p>This archive contains three zipped files each of which contains its own detailed README.</p>

<ol>
<li value="NaN">Logs_for_Synthetics.zip:This directory contains the digital well logs and the associated Matlab<sup>TM</sup> programs to calculate synthetic seismograms that are used in the thesis to predict what the major reflectors are.</li>
<li value="NaN">Tomography.zip:This contains the data for the inversion of the over 300,000 transit times picked from the seismic shot gathers in .These transit times are included in the excel file within the folder.</li>
<li value="NaN">Well log Tops.zip: This directory contains excel and Surfer (Golden Software) files used to make the maps of various stratigraphic surfaces (See Chapter 2 of Robitaille (2024).These data were obtained from a search reported well logs data bases as noted in the README there.</li>
