Survey on Work, Lifestyle and Health, 2010

The survey about work, lifestyle and health from 2010 was conducted by Statistics Norway, on demand from the Norwegian Social Research Institute (NOVA). Aina Holmøy from SSB was responsible for the project execution. The survey in 2010 was the 6th survey in the series. It was for first conducted in 1985, then 1987, 1989, 1993 and 2003. From the beginning the aim was to identify young people's career in the labor market, unemployment and substance abuse. The same sample of nearly 2,000 people have been followed throughout the period of 25 years. The gross sample has been slightly decreasing over the period, and the 2010 survey had a gross sample of 1865 people. Data was collected through a questionnaire based on the form used in the 2003 survey.
