PRESTIJ National Perceptions of the Teaching Profession Survey Dataset

This survey was conducted as part of the Pre-Service Teacher Education in Jordan (PRESTIJ) initiative. Conducted among a random sample of Jordanians, the survey measures perception of the teaching profession, perceived influences in decisions to pursue teaching, as well as tests existing knowledge of the pathway to the teaching profession. The findings of this survey informed multiple programmatic initiatives including national media campaigns and recruitment efforts for pre-service teaching education programs.
