Data for Removal and Biotransformation of Tire Wear Compounds by the Fungus Trametes Versicolor

This dataset describes the fungal removal (or lack thereof) of tire wear compounds found in stormwater using the model white rot fungus, Trametes versicolor. These experiments were designed to understand the environmental fate and treatment options for relevant tire wear compounds. Data were used to create kinetics models for fungal removal of acetanilide and hexamethoxymethylmelamine. 1,3-diphenylguanidine was not removed but data are provided. These data could be re-analyzed and instrument methods used for future studies.
