A price survey of a water purifier in Kanazawa City revealed that the average price in December 2016 was 2,530 yen. Compared to the national average of 2,783 yen, the water purifier in Kanazawa City was sold at a price 253 yen below the national average. During the period from January 2015 to December 2016 (the past 24 months), the highest price for a water purifier in supermarkets within Kanazawa City was 3,105 yen in January 2015, while the lowest price was 1,980 yen in June 2016. The price difference between the peak price period (January 2015) and the lowest price period (June 2016) for a water purifier in the Kanazawa City area was 253 yen.
