Summary Reporting System (SRS) - Arrests by Age, Sex, and Race (ASR)

The Arrests by Age, Sex, and Race (ASR) data provides monthly counts of arrests broken down by age, sex, and race for a variety of crimes. This data includes a broader number of crime categories than the crime data set (the Offenses Known and Clearances by Arrest data), though it is less detailed on violent crimes.

This dataset reports the number of arrests for each sex-age group across different crime categories. Additionally, it provides a breakdown of arrests by race and age by including the number of arrestees of each race and distinguishing between juvenile and adult arrestees.

One thing to keep in mind is that since the data captures counts of arrests rather than unique individuals, individuals arrested multiple times will appear in the dataset multiple times. Therefore, this dataset does not measure unique arrestees.
