Assessing Peru’s Political Environment for Achieving Sustainable Development Goals: Challenges and Opportunities

Peru has made significant progress towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations. However, the country still faces several challenges in terms of its political environment that can hinder its efforts toward sustainable development. This paper assesses Peru's political environment and analyzes the challenges and opportunities that need to be addressed to achieve the SDGs.

The research paper uses both qualitative and quantitative methods to evaluate Peru's political environment. The findings indicate that while there have been some positive developments in the country's political system, several areas still require improvement. These include ensuring transparency and accountability in government institutions, improving the quality of public services, and reducing corruption. The paper also identifies opportunities for Peru to achieve sustainable development, such as its natural resource wealth and growing middle class.
