We report that the adaptor protein, paxillin, regulates some androgen responsive genes in the castration sensitive prostate cancer cell line, LNCaP. Overall design: LNCaP cells were transfected with either Non-specific siRNA or Paxillin-targeted siRNA for 48 hours, followed by serums starvation of 12 hours, cells are then treated with either 2.5nM dihydrotestosterone (DHT) or vehicle (ethanol), and RNA from these groups were isolated and proceeded to RNA sequecning.
