Ecuadorian Presidential Elections (2002–2023): Canton-Level Results for First and Second Rounds

This dataset presents the results of Ecuador's presidential elections from the start of the 21st century to 2023, offering accessible, comprehensive, and comparable data at the canton level. It includes results from both the first and second rounds of elections, standardized to Ecuador's official geographic codes for consistent analysis across time and regions. The dataset contains information about election years and rounds, geographic details for provinces and cantons, voting results disaggregated by gender, data on valid votes, blank votes, null votes, voter turnout, demographic breakdowns of the electorate by gender and age group, and the number of votes received by each presidential candidate.
