We previously have found that RIPK3 induces robust anti-viral and inflammatory transcriptional signaling in death-resistant MEFs in a RIPK1-and TRIF-dependent manner. We nexted wanted to assess whether this mechanism was conserved in neurons during Zika virus infection. Overall design: WT (B6J) primary cortical neurons were treated with siRNA targeting RIPK3, ZBP1, TRIF, RIPK1 and a scramble encoded control. Neurons were then infected with ZIKV for 24hrs. Neuronal RNA lysates were then submitted for bulk RNAsequencing.
