This is a dataset regarding some parametric explorations performed into the results of 59049 building performance simulations in order to study the inner workings of overlapping block coordinate searches and define heuristic indicators suited to support the design of that kind of search structures. The explorations have been performed by the means of the OPTS program, which manages parametric explorations through the use of the ESP-r building performance simulation platform. A current and open source version of OPTS can be found (as Sim::OPTS, Perl module) at the address http://search.cpan.org/~glbrune/. The here available files include an older, binary version of OPTS and two (still binary) programs for searching through the data with the support of the defined heuristic indicators.
