Cross-presentation of F37A was suppressed by Fucoidan and Poly-I, a class A scavenger receptor inhibitor.

(A) Uptake of antigens by DC2.4 cells and its inhibition by endocytosis inhibitors were measured by Western blot analysis using an anti-His-tag antibody: 1, control; 2, cytochalasin B (phagocytosis inhibitor); 3, DMA (pinocytosis inhibitor); 4, poly-I (class A scavenger receptor inhibitor). Band intensity of the antigen was quantified by densitometry and the intensity was then normalized with respect to that of β-actin. Bars indicate percent changes.
