Metatranscriptomics sequencing of syntrophic acetate/propionate degrading enrichment cultures, cultivated in serum bottles in high ammonia (0.3M) and mesophilic conditions, degrading either acetate (50mM) or propionate (50mM).Propionate cultures were sampled on two occasions, first when propionate was being degraded but still at high concentrations and the second towards end of propionate degradation. Acetate culture was sampled at one occasion towards end of acetate degradation.Each experimental setup was run in quadruplicates, and pooled after RNA extraction resulting in a total of 3 samples (Acetate, Propionate early, Propionate late)
