By using CTD of SBE9, a salt content and vertical distribution of
water temperature in the surface layer of the ocean up to a depth of
1,500 m were measured at intervals of one degree of longitude. The
initial data were classified into data sets according to depth
expressed in meters. All the data, obtained more than a year ago, are
available on magnetic tape.
