资源简介:
The goal of this study is to determine whether in vitro culture (IVC) of embryos, a common component of Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART), has long-term effects on liver health. Using a mouse model, we assessed how IVC influences metabolic regulation and disease susceptibility by analyzing liver tissue with microRNA sequencing, quantitative proteomics, and biochemical assays. We identified molecular features of fatty liver disease (FLD), as well as alterations in cancer-related pathways, in IVC-derived mice. These findings suggest that early embryonic culture can reprogram metabolism in ways that predispose offspring to liver disease later in life. The study provides mechanistic insights into how ART procedures may affect long-term health and highlights the need to evaluate their safety with respect to metabolic and hepatic outcomes in humans.
