microbiome and metabolome biomarkers related to the healthy of dairy cows

The relationship between animals health status and animals microbiome has been proved. Through cultured-independent methods, we found presenting of two bacteria and six metabolites in rumen fluid were positive to healthy dairy cows. Moreover, these two bacteria not only could upregulate the levels of 3 of 6 metabolites under in artificial environmental fermentation but also reduce the death rate and inflammation in germ-free mice caused by FMT mastitis feces. The findings may point to a new health-promoting and disease-preventing approach for dairy cattle.
