The Latrobe Valley Development Advisory Committee, with the Central Planning Authority operated under the auspices of the Division of State development, Premiers Department (VA 2717). Their function was to advise on the development of the Latrobe Valley and its resources in a period when development and decentralisation were to be planned on a regional basis.The records in this series are the official Minutes of Meetings of that Committee.
