资源简介:
We provide the dataset used in the paper: "High-Precision Aftershock Distribution Highlights the Complex Fault Geometry of the 2024 Mw 7.5 Noto Peninsula Earthquake"The dataset contains four data notified in details bellow. If you wish to use this dataset for your own research or publication, please contact the corresponding author in advance. When you publishing results using our dataset, please cite this paper.
1. Earthquake catalog (hypocenter.out)
Relocated hypocenters of earthquakes in the source region of the 2024 Mw 7.5 Noto Peninsula, Japan, earthquake from April 2024 to June 2024 based on the aftershock observations. The ASCII file "hypocenters.out" contains the relocated hypocenters of 46252 earthquakes. Columns 1–6 show the origin time (JST). 1: year, 2: month, 3:day, 4: hour, 5: minute, 6: second. Columns 7, 8, and 9 show the locations. 7: longitude (degree), 8: latitude (degree), and 9: depth (km).Columns 10 shows the magnitude.
2. Phase information (real_out)
The P- & S-wave pick-times (ASCII) were derived from results of PhaseNet procedure (Zhu & Beroza, 2019), and used in the hypocentral determination in the papar. The daily pick data is stored under the directory named by corresponding date. Detailed file format is described in the REAL user guide.(https://github.com/Dal-mzhang/REAL)
3. Waveform data (win_noto_grl_merge)
We deployed seismic observations and obtained WIN format waveform data. Each filename is the origin time of the initial hypoceter determined by HYPOMH.The duration of the waveform is 20 s starting at the origin time truncated to its integer part.Phase data of each event is picked in the station listed in the "2. phase information" (real_out).Detailed information of WIN format is described in the website of WIN system. (https://wwweic.eri.u-tokyo.ac.jp/WIN/Eindex.html)
4. Channel table
The channel table fille contains the information of the seismic station and sensors.National Research Institute for Earth Science and Disaster Resilience(NIED) provide the detailde information.(Actually, NIED provides the waveform data in WIN32 format, but the channel table is the same format as our WIN format)(https://www.hinet.bosai.go.jp/faq/?LANG=en)
