Soil metagenome

In August 2017, we collected rice roots samples together with rhizospheric soil for 5 replicates per plot (three replicates for CK), randomly collected 5-8 sub-samples and fully mixed as a composite sample. The roots at 20-30 cm depth were collected and shaken until it did not fall off soil, then the rhizosphere soil was detached with a brush carefully where was adhered to the roots. Store at -80°C for backup.
