收藏资源简介:
Gamma-Cas analogs are early Be stars displaying very unusual hard X-ray emission with a luminosity intermediate between normal massive stars and XRBs. Both an unexpected magnetic activity in a critically rotating star comma or accretion in a Be + white dwarf openParor neutron starclosePar binary comma have been invoked to account for these outstanding features. We request follow-up observations to better characterise the high-energy properties openParX-ray temperatures comma local absorption and variability patternsclosePar of those Gamma-Cas analogs and candidate analogs lacking sensitive enough observations. The new X-ray data together with the existing optical data will allow us to bring stronger constraints on the X-ray emitting mechanism.
