This register records: number of papers, application number, name of applicant, parish, county, and date received in the Water Rights Branch. It presumably relates to the Commission's function of issuing authorities, permits and licences for the construction and use of dams and levees, for the use of pumps on streams and for the sinking, alteration and enlargement of bores and wells. Pasted into the middle of the volume are copies of correspondence, dated 1944 and 1945, relating to applications and permits for permanent irrigation, watercourses and pumps. (11/14068.2). 1 vol.
