PolNos: Political Nostalgia in Party Manifestos

PolNos is a collection of datasets on political nostalgia in party manifestos. The current version of PolNos contains 1,648 manifestos from 24 countries, released by 379 parties between 1946 and 1946. The main datasets come in two formats: either on the level of (quasi-)sentences or aggregated to the level of manifestos. The repository also contains the machine-translated text corpus, the nostalgia dictionaries, and hand-coded samples of manifesto sentences used for training and validating the classifiers. The file polnos-data-description.pdf provides detailed information on all datasets and variables. Ensure to download csv files in the original format (Access Dataset -> Comma-Separated Values).
