This repository has the code and cases for the heterogeneous river-hyporheic zone. The generation of the model is based on Matlab, Python v3.0, and OpenFOAM v5.0.
Content:
1. Extended Bedforms v4.0: The geometry of river-hyporheic zone and geostatistical properties can be created from extended Bedforms v 4.0.
2. pyGeo2Hydro: the value of hydraulic parameters can be determined based on the stationary criteria in this python script. In addition, this python script converts data from Matlab files to files that can be used in OpenFOAM.
3. hyporheicFoam: this is the updated version of hyporheicFoam. It can simulate the flow and solute transport in heterogeneous sediment now.
Notes:
1. We used the extended Bedforms v4.0 and hyporheicFoam, more information on the original version can be found through the references.
