资源简介:
The project will support landholders in managing riparian weeds on Stanley, Stoney and Neurum Creeks. The headwaters of these two creeks form in the ecologically significant Conondale National Park and form a key link with remnant patches throughout their valleys. This linkage is an important resource for threatened species and other wildlife of the region. Additionally the creeks are an important water source for the agriculture industries in the area and feed into Lake Somerset - one of SEQ's principal water supply storages. The project aims to provide a helping hand to landholders in controlling riparian weed species, including the WoNS 'canopy killers' Madeira vine and Cats claw creeper.
