Average currency exchange amounts by women at bank branches South Korea 2018, by age

According to an analysis of remittances and currency exchanges in South Korea in 2018, when female customers visited bank branches to exchange currencies, the older they were, the more they exchanged. Elderly women over 70 years old exchanged the most, around 2,900 U.S. dollars. Teenaged girls exchanged relatively large amounts, around 1,100 dollars, compared to women in their 20s, who exchanged less than 600 dollars.
