Diabetic kidney disease (DKD) is the leading cause of end-stage renal disease. Consequently, comprehending the molecular regulatory mechanisms underlying the pathogenesis of DKD is imperative. Here, we employed the 16 weeks db/db mouse model to simulate early-stage DKD in humans. We conducted mRNA sequencing of kidneys from db/db and db/m mice, and performed paired-end 150 bp sequencing by Illumina NovaSeq 6000.
