NRS-691 | "Statistical Register of New South Wales" (bound edition)

This publication gives annual and comparative statistics for the various activities carried on in New South Wales. Statistics are given for such matters as: finance; manufacturing; rural industries; population; trade; transport; local government; mining; social conditions (eg. education, health, crime, employment); land settlement; etc.The bound Statistical Register contains the individual parts which were issued separately and which now appear in a collective form with a general index. There may occasionally be some revised material in the later bound Statistical Register.After 1955 the Statistical Register was no longer issued in a collective form. It was only made available in the individual parts issued separately. The Statistical Register should be read in conjunction with the Statistics available in the "Official Year Book of New South Wales". For the more recent figures in the principal statistical series reference should be made to publications such as the "Statistical Bulletin" and the "Monthly Summary of Business Statistics".1861-1955 (incomplete)(6/5567-91, 19/19604-45). 67 vols.
