Crickets are hemimetabolous model organisms for studying insect physiology and behavior and host a gut microbiome that supports digestion, disease defense, and reproduction. Here, we report 56 high-quality closed circular and 86 fragmented bacterial metagenome-assembled genomes from the gut tract of the field cricket Teleogryllus occipitalis.
