资源简介:
Eight crossbred growing pigs (49 + 3 kg) equipped with CGM sensors and fitted with a central venous catheter, were tested in a 5 days-feeding trial. Pigs were fed twice daily, with diets progressively changing from high starch to high fat composition over the trial. At day 2 and day 5, after an overnight fast, a test meal rich in starch (starch, day 2) or rich in fat (fat, day 5) was fed to the pig. Time-series blood collections were obtained just before (-15 min) and after (0 to 360 min) the meal, to analyze plasma concentrations of glucose, insulin and lactate (using commercial kits and a lab analyser). The pigs were also equiped with a continuous glucose monitoring system (CGM) and glucose values were read every 5 min during the same period (raw_sensor_glucose: raw values of glucose concentrations; smoothed_sensor_glucose: glucose values filtered using a Stavitsky Golay filtering).
