Staphylococcus infections are the most common and invasive, and we need better treatments. Combination therapy is an active topic; beta-lactam/fosfomycin combination therapy is expected to work. This study determined the most effective beta-lactam/fosfomycin combination against Staphylococcus aureus. This combination effect was confirmed using the liquid dilution method and HFIM. NGS analysis elucidated the resistance mechanism of the obtained resistant bacteria.
