资源简介:
Gene regulation is important for long-term adaptive changes in cells. However, it remains largely unclear how alternative splicing is controlled in the process. Here we use our established inducible splicing system in pituitary cells to delineate the impact of repeated depolarization on adaptive splicing. We show by RNA-Seq analysis that alternative splicing of specific genes changed upon repeated stimulations differently from that upon a single treatment, allowing cells to adjust variant selection through the adaptive splicing.
