The fill of a single post feature recovered from a terminal Mississippian
house dating approximately 1490 + 60 BP was examined for pollen and macrofloral
remains. Pollen and macrofloral analyses were undertaken in an effort to
identify any possible use of this feature after the post had been removed, or to
provide evidence of food processing activities within this house.
