The 1998 - 1999 ISCAT South Pole observational data are available on one
CD-ROM. The aerosol data, trace gas data, and photolyitc rate coefficients
are separated into three directories: Aerosol, TraceGases, and j-values.
In the j-values directory, there are 24 data files and one readme.txt file
describing the data format, measurement techniques, precisions and
accuracies, and detection limits. The data files include
downwelling and total j-values for 10 photolysis reactions.
Detailed description of project ISCAT can be found in the special
section in GRL October 1, 2000. The ISCAT data CD is available by

The ISCAT 1998 field observations of solar flux were carried out in December
1998 at the South Pole. The UV sensor extended 1 - 2 m from the
building and was about 10 meter above the snow surface. The
reported j-values and source of the cross sections and quantum yields
are as the following.
