The impact of the anticoagulant type in blood collection tubes on circulating plasma miRNA profiles revealed by small RNA sequencing

Pre-analytic factors have a significant influence on circulating miRNA profiling. The aim of this study was the comprehensive NGS-based assessment of the impact of anticoagulant type in blood collection tubes on circulating plasma miRNA profiles. Overall design: Comparative miRNA profiling analysis of miRNA-Seq data for plasma extracellular circulating miRNA obtained from blood collected with different anticoagulants (ACD-B, Sodium citrate, CTAD and K2-EDTA) from 10 healthy participants.
