Effect of alcohol dehydrogenase gene (adh) deletion in recombinant Cupriavidus necator on isomeric distribution of produced 2,3-butanediol - Dataset

This dataset contains data from autotrophic production of acetoin and 2,3-butanediol (2,3-BDO) by recombinant Cupriavidus necator H16 strains, developed within the BIOCTANE project (WP1, Task 1.4). Specifically, the effect of the deletion of the alcohol dehydrogenase (locus E6A55_RS03830) on the emergence and distribution of 2,3-BDO was investigated in cell suspension assays of four different strains under Knallgas atmosphere. The dataset includes the optical density, pressure losses by consumption, and, concentration of substrate gases and products over the cultivation time. Furthermore, carbon and hydrogen yields, isomer distribution, volumetric productivity, and substrate consumption rates were calculated.This dataset underpins a journal article.
