fCO2 underway measurements during Mission Microbiomes aboard SV Tara

This dataset compiles the underway fugacity of CO2 data collected during the legs 5,6,7,8 and 9 of the Mission Microbiomes AtlantECO aboard the sailing vessel Tara. The dataset starts in August 2021 in Martinique and ends at the border between Brazil and Uruguay end of November 2021. It includes the time and location of measurement, sea surface temperature, sea surface salinity, wind at 10m, temperature in the equilibrator, atmospheric pressure, molar fraction of CO2 in seawater, partial pressure of CO2 in seawater and fugacity of CO2 in seawater. This dataset has been submitted to the 2025 SOCAT version. This dataset is accompanied by the paper 'Exploring the CO2 fugacity along the east coast of South America aboard the schooner Tara', submitted to ESSD, from Olivier et al.
