资源简介:
The survey was conducted as part of the project "Occupations in Germany: Social Perceptions and Personality Traits" as a follow-up survey to the BIBB/BAuA Employment Survey 2018 (ZA7574). In this survey, 8,010 core-employed and 1,001 non-core-employed persons in Germany were asked about their personality traits and took part in a vocabulary test. The supplementary survey was conducted as a computer-assisted telephone interview (CATI) with a mobile phone share of about 30 percent (dual-frame). The fieldwork lasted from October 2017 to May 2018. The survey took place at the same time as the BIBB/BAuA Employment Survey 2018, so that the data for core employees from both surveys can be linked. The present dataset only contains the data of core-employed persons.<br>Personality traits (have my life in my own hands, effort leads to success, life is determined by others, plans often thwarted by fate); dealing with job requirements (can meet job requirements, have the skills needed for my job, have enough interest in all the requirements needed for my job, calmness in the face of job difficulties due to confidence in one´s own abilities, no difficulties in realising job intentions and goals, enough job motivation to be able to overcome great difficulties); experience of work (race against time, continue working after colleagues have finished, working hard is important even if work is not fun, am always busy and have several irons in the fire, inner drive to work hard, spend more time on work than on friends, hobbies or leisure activities, feel obliged to work hard even if it is not fun, do two or three things at the same time, such as eating, writing a note, making a phone call, feel guilty if I take time off, find it hard to relax when not working); other personality traits (work thoroughly, communicative, sometimes a little rough with others, original, often worry, reserved, can forgive, rather lazy, sociable, appreciate artistic experiences, get nervous easily, do tasks effectively and efficiently, considerate and friendly when dealing with others, vivid imagination, relaxed and can handle stress well, tend to put things off until later); self-assessment of general risk-taking; comparison of risk-taking at the end of school with general risk-taking.
