This dataset contains the borehole petrophysical logging data collected and compiled during a PhD study investigating hydrothermal alteration, veining, and mineralization processes in the Augmitto–Bouzan sector of the Abitibi Greenstone Belt, as part of the Metal Earth Project.
The purpose of this dataset is to document downhole physical property variations associated with quartz–carbonate veins, sulfidation zones, and host rock alteration in an orogenic gold system. The data support quantitative analysis of alteration signatures and their relationship to petrophysical responses at the borehole scale.
The dataset includes:
Raw and processed borehole logs (including resistivity, density, magnetic susceptibility, spectral gamma-ray, and related derived parameters where available)
Depth-referenced log data in digital format
Basic preprocessing outputs used in interpretation and cross-plot analyses
Documentation describing log acquisition context and data structure
These data enable evaluation of contrasts between altered and unaltered intervals, identification of vein-related signatures, and integration with geochemical and numerical modeling studies archived separately.
The dataset is intended for researchers working in borehole geophysics, petrophysics, mineral exploration, and hydrothermal alteration studies.
