Soil microbiome of the European Subarctic under conditions of oil pollution.

Soil contamination with oil products poses a significant threat to the ecosystems of the High North, and the search for methods to effectively remediate contaminated sites is an urgent task at present. The present study aim was to evaluate the degree of soil decontamination from oil products and the restoration of diversity and structure of soil bacterial and fungal communities at sites with different recultivation conditions.
