Volumetric streaming in private 5G network
收藏资源简介:
Overview=========This dataset contains logs from consumer and producer applications of the volumetric streaming application that was developed during the AVID-NMP project [1]. The source code of the application is available at [2]. The logs were collected by experimenting over a private standalone 5G network. The experiment included 2 video producers, 1 video consumer and an SFU/MCU; the latter was deployed in 5G MEC, while the users were deployed in the 5G RAN. Three different experiment setups were investigated: P2P mode, where producers stream data directly to the consumer; SFU mode, where the producers send the video stream to the SFU/MCU which simply forwarded it to the consumer; and MCU mode, where the producers sent the video stream to the SFU/MCU which transcoded it to JPG stream and then forwarded it to the consumer. Each setup is explored with one and two producers acting simultaneously. With MCU, four different quality levels for JPG frame encoding are explored (25, 50, 75 and 90). For further details, refer to the README.txt file. =========References========= [1] AVID-NMP Project site: https://mmlab-aueb.github.io/avid-nmp/[2] Volumetric streaming application repository: https://github.com/mmlab-aueb/nmp/tree/master/volumetric_streaming_app
