资源简介:
Glyphosate may be a key contributor to the obesity and the autism epidemic in the United States (US), as well as to several other diseases and conditions, including cancer. This pilot study examines whether low-dose exposure of glyphosate-based herbicides (GBHs) to Sprague-Dawley rats from prenatal life through adulthood will modify the composition of gut microbiome. Roundup and glyphosate were administered in drinking water at doses comparable to the US glyphosate ADI (1.75 mg/kg bw/day) to F0 dams starting from the 6th days of pregnancy and fecal samples were collected at multiple time points from F0 dams and F1 male and female pups, from early developmental stage until adulthood.
