To investigate the expression profile of genes involved in oxygen-induced retinopathy (OIR) and the effect of caspase1 deletion on those genes in retina. Overall design: C57BL/6 and Caspase1 mice were exposed to normoxia and 3 day hypoxia (3 day post OIR) and then eyes were enucleated and retinas isolated. The RNA was isolated from retina and then gene expression profiling was performed using 3 prime RNA sequencing.
