Precipitation dataset (daily rainfall), over the Hombori site (2500 km2), Mali

Documentation of daily rainfall in Northern Sahel. The aim is to characterize the temporal and spatial variability within the Hombori super-site. Data will be used in modelling and assimilation activities, as well as for validation of satellite products. The synoptic meteorological Hombori station has stopped to operate since 2011.
