Americans love to barbecue. Be it for a family get-together, a birthday party or for any other occasion, consumers in the United States are fond of going out in their gardens and start grilling. But what is their favorite time to barbecue? According to the participants of the Statista survey Outdoor & Barbecues in the United States 2017, summer is the ideal time of the year for barbecuing. About 55% of the respondents prefer to grill in July and more than 50% of barbecue enthusiasts enjoy grilled meat in June. To 34% it doesn’t matter which month it is – they always like to barbecue. In terms of requirements for barbecuing around the house, there are no strict rules in the States: Without further restrictions, most of the U.S. respondents are allowed to grill meat on their balconies or terraces. The biggest motivation for having a barbecue in the U.S. is the taste of the food.
