Beginning as in the preceding copies. As heading before the preface appears here: غازه پردازئ رخسار شاهد كتاب از ريختن رنگ سخن در مقام توحيد و گلگونه سازئ چهرۀ عشق نيرنگ از خون دل خوردن در عرصۀ تقرير و از تقليد’.

No date. Twelfth century of Hijrah. As copyist is mentioned, on fol. 55a (by a third hand, it seems), Ghulâm Muḥammad. A note, affixed to the fly-leaf by C. Raikes, Commissioner and Superintendent, states that this, ‘like Heer and Rauja, is a love-story. Ghuneemut died recently (sic!) at Goojerat and is the author of a Deewan or collection of odes. Sent to the Imperial Exhibition at Paris for works of art and industry by the Punjab Committee at Lahore.’ It was received from Dr. Royle, July, 1856.
