Between 2018 and 2023, 280 isolates of either Campylobacter jejuni or Campylobacter coli have been identified as resistant to erythromycin. In order to study the evolution of associated resistance genomic markers, DNA extraction followed by whole-genome sequencing were performed. Mechanisms such as 23S mutations or erm genes expression were found.
