Restoring rare species habitat at Mulligans Flat and Jerrabomberra Wetlands 1

At Mulligans Flat Woodlands Sanctuary and Jerrabomberra Wetlands Nature Reserve, the Green Army team will help develop nationally significant nature reserves for biodiversity conservation, restoration and community engagement. At Mulligans Flat, the Green Army team will help to restore a box gum grassy woodland ecosystem replete with a fully functioning food web of native animals, many of which are no longer present due to regional extinctions. At Jerrabomberra Wetlands Nature Reserve the team will help protect the floodplain wetlands reserve for migratory birds, and simultaneously enhance the wetland habitat for other flora and fauna.
