This dataset provides baseline measurements needed to characterize marine carbonate chemistry and water mass structure in Nunatsiavut waters during the 20252026 field seasons. Discrete samples of dissolved inorganic carbon and total alkalinity support calculation of carbonate system parameters used to assess ocean acidification conditions, while O measurements support water mass tracing and interpretation of physical drivers of carbonate variability. Continuous surface-ocean pCO measurements collected aboard the CCGS Amundsen provide complementary information for assessing surface CO conditions during the summer Imappivut cruise. Together, these observations establish a spatially and seasonally resolved baseline to support Inuit-led marine planning, interpretation of regional CO uptake and ocean acidification vulnerability, and long-term monitoring relevant to the Imappivut Marine Plan and the Nunatsiavut Climate Change Strategy
