*Volume of elemental chlorine (Cl2) used in control process was considered as 100%.a: Pulp without pretreatment with 100% Cl2; b: Pretreated (with B. stearothermophilus xylanase) pulp having 75.4% of Cl2; c: Pretreated (with B. stearothermophilus xylanase and C. subvermispora laccase) pulp having 69.8% of Cl2; d: Pretreated (with commercial xylanase) pulp having 82.2% of Cl2; e: Pretreated (with commercial xylanase and laccase) pulp having 74.7% of Cl2.
