A number of soundtracks for films and television shows were donated to the AFI Research Collection by the estate of Wayne Levy. The soundtracks are mainly on vinyl LPs, featuring films and TV shows from the 1970s and 80s. It is mainly Australian material, though there are a number of items from other films and TV shows from other countries. The soundtracks are mainly for an individual film or TV show, though there are a number that are compilations and interpretations of original recordings. Many of these items appear listed in Wayne Levy's study on adaptations of film and television. The collection includes reproduction of the soundtracks (mainly vinyl).
